This was a typography class project, rebranding a museum randomly assigned to us. I was given The Museum of Feelings, which was a marketing pop up “museum” for Glade and doesn’t exist anymore. I decided to trash everything about that past identity and rename it to The Mood Museum. I felt that mood was a much broader word and would lend itself more to an art museum. The mark combines the most basic human “moods” (happy and sad) into a logo that, when combined with yellow, is reminiscent of a pre-emoji emoticon. The identity is bold and straightforward, something that won’t get lost when paired with equally bold art. Also included in this project is a series of coffee table books entitled Bliss, Fury, and Ennui.
